ICHOM and OECD to collaborate on patient outcomes
The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is a non-profit organization that we’ve been fortunate enough to work with over the last couple of years. Their goal is to transform health care systems worldwide by measuring and reporting patient outcomes in a standardized way and some of their highest impact work has been in developing standard outcome measure sets for high burden conditions using a consensus based approach involving international clinicians and patients.
Today they announced signing a letter of intent to collaborate with the OECD to collect, analyze and publish patient reported outcomes for international comparison. More information on this announcement can be found here.
Our congratulations to ICHOM on another big step toward our shared goal!
