To find a list of all vaccines that your pharmacy has administered, navigate on the left navigation menu to Service History then to Immunization History. By default, your Immunization History list will be sorted by the most recent Administered Date and Patient Last Name.
Filtering
The Immunization History page can be filtered by Vaccine, Administered Date or IIS Status, if applicable.
IIS Statuses
Once Outcomes receives the vaccine data, the vaccine will automatically be reported to the state registry. Below are the vaccine reporting statuses and what they mean:
- Accepted: The vaccine record has been reported by Outcomes and accepted by State IIS.
- Consent Declined: The vaccine record was marked as a No for Pending Consent by a user and will not be submitted to State IIS.
- Pending Consent: The vaccine record has not been submitted to State IIS since it is pending patient consent.
- Pending Registry Response: The vaccine record has been reported by Outcomes and is pending a response from State IIS.
- Review & Resubmit: Outcomes has attempted to report the vaccine record to the State IIS but was rejected due to missing requirements. An Immunization Rejection task will be created for the pharmacy to take action.
Pending Consent Updates
Explicit consent (opt-in) may be required to report vaccinations to a state registry in select jurisdictions. In the case that Outcomes does not receive consent to share, the vaccine will be in a Pending Consent status until the pharmacy provides confirmation.
- To find vaccines with a Pending Consent status, click on the IIS Status filter, select Pending Consent, and click Show
- To edit the Pending Consent status, go to Patient Profile, by clicking on the patient’s name or by using Patient Search.
- Click on needle icon on the right-hand side to view Immunization History.
- Click on View Details for the vaccine with Pending Consent status
- Under Patient Consent Status, click on pencil icon to update the status to Yes or No and select the checkmark to save.
- “Yes” will submit the vaccine record to the State IIS.
- “No” will prevent submission to the State IIS (unless consent is not required).
