Click Opportunities from the left-hand navigation menu, then select Medicare Opps from the drop-down to see your Medicare plan review opportunities for patients expected to visit the pharmacy in the upcoming week.
During Open Enrollment, your opportunities will consist of patient that:
- Are age 65 or older
- 3+ maintenance medications
- Are scheduled to visit pharmacy yesterday, today, or the next 7 days
Outside of Open Enrollment, your opportunities will consist of patients that:
- Are turning 65 within 4 months OR turned 65 in past 4 months
- Have 3+ maintenance medications
- Are scheduled to visit pharmacy yesterday, today, or the next 7 days
Scheduling a Plan Review from an Opportunity
You can Schedule Medicare plan reviews with these pre-identified patients. If you speak with a patient and set an appointment, mark it within Opportunities by following the instructions below:
1) Click on Opportunities from the left-hand navigation menu, then select Medicare Opps from the drop-down menu.
2) To schedule an appointment, click Schedule to the right of the patient’s information.
3) In the pop-up window, enter the appointment Date, Time, and any Notes then click Save.
4) The opportunity will disappear from your screen. Click on Calendar from the left-hand navigation menu, then select Clinical Calendar to view the scheduled appointment on your calendar.
