Administering to Patients

To administer a vaccine:

  1. Go to Patient Profile and navigate to Immunizations
  2. Click on Print Pre-Screening Form to provide a consent form to your patient.
  3. Next to the vaccine name, click on VIS within the Info Doc column to provide a Vaccine Information Statement to your patient.
  4. Click Administer. If a patient declines a vaccine, please click Decline. A window will appear asking you to select a reason that the patient declined the vaccine.
  5. In the Administer Vaccine pop-up window, fill out the required fields (and any conditional fields required in your state), then click Save.
  6. Finally, dispense the vaccine from your pharmacy management system and physically administer.
