      San Joaquin County (SJC-Healthy Futures) Registry Enrollment / HL7 Integration

      Step 1: Registration

      Steps to Register with CAIR:

      • Navigate to the CAIR2 portal
      • Click Register to begin the process
      • Under the question Site intends to (choose one) select option 2 (Submit immunization data through sending facility)
        • Under question Enter the Sending Facility ID type: SF-007858
        • Will this facility be formatting messages for your clients? Select YES
      • Complete all sections of the form as they apply to your pharmacy. Please use the information below for the listed fields:


      For section Data Exchange Information please use the information listed below:

        • What is the name (+version) of the EMR/EHR software used by this office? PrescribeWellness SMP
        • Which vendor developed the EMR/EHR software used by this office? SMP
        • Is this EMR/EHR Certified? YES
        • Can this EMR/EHR send HL7 formatted data? YES
        • Data Exchange/ Vendor Contact Information

        • For section Meaningful Use Info please use the information below:
          • Is this Site currently participating in the EHR Incentive Program (‘meaningful use’)? No
        • For section Online Access to CAIR? Select Yes
        • Please review and correct any data you have entered in this form, then click Continue. To clear the form, click e-Sign and submit your online registration.
        • Once complete, please check your email account and click on the link within the email to verify your email registration with CAIR. You will need to verify your email to activate your CAIR account.

          Step 2: Complete your SJC forms

          Click HERE to complete the below forms:

          • Registry Provider Agreement
          • Request for Access User Form

          Step 3: Org Code

          Step 4: CAIR > SJC Connection

          Once the CAIR/SJC registry steps are complete, we will work with CAIR/SJC to set up your connection.

          Step 5: Documentation in the Vaccinations tool:

          • Please document all administered immunizations in the PrescribeWellness Vaccinations Tool.
          • While in Active Testing, please document directly to CA registry and in the Outcomes Vaccinations Tool.

          Step 6: Final registration steps CA/SJC Status Check:

          • Once CA/SJC approves, a confirmation email will be sent to your pharmacy to confirm the Production status.
