Editing Patient Communication Preferences

Within the Communications tab of the patient profile, you can manage patient phone numbers and communication preferences.

To get to the patient communication preferences:

  • Navigate to the appropriate Patient Profile
  • Select Communications from the patient navigation
  • Choose the Communication tab

To add a phone number to the patient’s profile:

  • Click Add New Number
  • Mark whether the number is a Cellphone or a Landline using the toggle
  • Click Save

To edit the patient's communication preferences:

  • For each of the four campaign categories, select the patient’s Primary Channel (Voice or Text).
  • For each of the four campaign categories, select the patient's Preferred Contact number.

To opt the patient in/out of receiving future campaigns:

  • Use the toggle next to each campaign category (Opt In is the default setting).

To opt the patient in/out of receiving future marketing messages:

  • Use the toggle for the Marketing Consent Status (Opt Out is the default setting)
