How to enroll your pharmacy with the Michigan (MI-MCIR) Registry
Step 1: Registration
- If your pharmacy does not have an MCIR account, please complete Provider Agreement HERE.
- Complete the MCIR Provider Site Usage Agreement and return it directly to your MCIR Region (see below) and cc pwiisforms@outcomes.com on the email:
Step 2: Register at Michigan Health System Testing Respiratory
You will need the MCIR site ID in order to complete the registration. Use the following link to register/login to an account: https://mimu.michiganhealthit.org/
You can also refer to the HSTR User Guide.
1.Under the section Add organization include the following:
I. Qualified Organization- Michiana Health Information Network (MHIN)
II. Intended PHS- Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR)
Once you complete this section you will see the following : Pharmacy Name was submitted for approval by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. An email will be sent to your account when MDHHS has reviewed your submitted information. The MDHHS review of this application may take 3-5 business days. Please continue to report immunizations to MI-MCIR and in Outcomes.
Under the section Add Registration include the following:
I.HL7 Version- 2.5.1II.EHR configured to capture the MCIR HL7 Fields? Yes
III. This registration does not participate with MAPS, right? Correct
IV. Our EHR system- Outcomes SMP
V.EHR vendor- SMP
VI.EHR product/version- 2.0
VII.EHR implementation date? 2015
Step 3: Send confirmation HSTR registration is complete
Please email confirmation & MCIR ID to: pwiisforms@outcomes.com with the subject line:
Pharmacy Name | SMP Tool | MCIR SITE ID ATTACHED| HSTR Registration complete
Step 4: Final Registration Steps
Outcomes will send a confirmation email when MI-MCIR has confirmed that your pharmacy is live in production and can document vaccinations in the Vaccinations tool.
