Using the No Call List (NCL)

Use the No Call List (NCL) to suppress calls to a specific phone number, rather than for an individual patient. This is helpful for suppressing calls to group homes or other facilities.

To get to the No Call List:

  • Click on Comms within the left-hand navigation menu
  • Select No Call List from the submenu

Adding a Phone Number

To add a phone number to the No Call List:

  • Click + Phones
  • In the + Phones pop-up window, type in the name of the person requesting to suppress calls to the number in the Patient who requested field
  • Enter the reason for the request in the Note field (optional)
  • Type the phone number in the Phone Numbers field
  • Include the area code and avoid any special characters (parenthesis, dashes, periods, etc.)
  • Click Add

To add a prescription number to the No Call List:

  • Click the RX Numbers tab
  • Click on Add Rx Numbers
  • In the Add Rx Numbers pop-up window, type in the name of the person requesting to suppress calls in the Patient who requested field
  • Type in the reason for the request in the Note field (optional)
  • Type the Rx number in the Rx Numbers field
  • Click Add.
